NGO Forum Side Event

| ADB and the World Bank gave a joint presentation of their accountability mechanisms during an NGO Forum arranged by the Japanese Representative Office (JRO) at the ADB Institute in coordination with Japan Bank for International Cooperation and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance. The Forum was attended by Japan-based NGOs, academics and representatives of Japanese government bodies, and was joined by principals of the Independent Accountability Mechanisms who had just concluded their 7th Annual Meeting in Tokyo. ADB’s Special Project Facilitator Robert May and the World Bank Inspection Panel’s Eimi Watanabe delivered the formal presentations and answered queries during the ensuing open forum. Compliance Review Panel Secretary Bruce Purdue facilitated the event. |
